Mougnir qualified from the French School of Orthopedics & Physiotherapy in Paris in 1998. He also qualified from the Glasgow Caledonian University in 2011 in Local anaesthetic and nail surgery, and from Edinburgh in Steroid injections. To date he still undergoes a master in Podiatric Surgery at the Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh. Mougnir is currently registered with the UK Health Care Professional Council and member of the society of Chiropodists & Podiatrists.
Mougnir has been managing his own Sports Podiatry and Chiropody practice for over 15 years in Fontainebleau and Paris.
Well known as a podiatry consultant on the French TV5 health channel show (Le Magazine de la Santé), he has also been consulting for Adidas, New Balance, Brooks, Puma and several magazines such as Elle magazine or Triathlete magazine.
Mougnir Boumedjane focuses on the management of postural, balance and plantar troubles (plantar fasciitis, Morton neuroma, verruca, ingrowing toenails, corns, callosi and many more). He assists the patient in understanding and managing the complaint, using technical tests, creative treatment methods, specifically tailored to meet patients’ unique needs, such as the making of orthopedic soles.
Mougnir’s passion in sports activities and podiatry led him to travel around the world and to develop a strong sense of empathy towards his patients. In addition to being a fencing coach in London, he is a highly experienced triathlon athlete and a ten year active participant in the Ironman competitions. He is surely sympathetic to sports aficionados but he also tackles a varied range of complaints, whether affecting children or adults of different ages.
